Beauty and the Beast ~ REFORMER Sarah Palin!

Palin Pizzazz!

Palin being uniquely positioned and able to more than nullify Biden in debate comment section

On August 25, 2008 Ted said...
Despite the Dems and the allied main stream media’s desperation to see Romney as McCain’s Veep, Mitt is clearly out, with (1) Obama doubling down on the class warfare theme (McCain’s 7 houses) and (2) McCain doubling down with ads showing the hypocrisy of Biden attacking Obama in the primaries — Romney did way more than that contra McCain.

This leaves only Govs Sarah Palin and Tim Pawlenty. Pro-abortion Ridge and Dem-Lieberman were never real considerations, despite relentless media
goading. Pawlenty’s lackluster TV performances, coupled with Palin pizzazz, the primacy of oil drilling and the ticked off women/Hillary voters, does now portend a McCain/Palin checkmate on the Dems. This is so albeit the Dems and liberal media dare not mention Palin’s name, that is, everyone but…..

And if there’s any question as to Palin being uniquely positioned and able to more than nullify Biden in debate, see the excellent discussion at palinforvp.blogspot.com

Team McCain, well done!!!

Very Interesting. You have my attention and I will begin doing my homework. Only cuz I don't know the name Palin at all. I wondered about the McCain campaign taking advantage of 'making it time' to bring a woman to the ticket as VP, after Biden was chosen. Since I've lost my candidate, I'm more open to learning about other candidates. Still won't ever vote for McCain though. I'm bothered by things about him, like I'm bothered with things about Obama. Stuff stuck in my craw. As long as stuff is stuck in my craw, neither candidate is relevant to me. If Hillary (by some big miracle) won the VP with the separate dnc convention floor vote, I could over look Obama's stuff more than McCain. I'll do another post about Palin when I learn more. Thank you for posting today Ted. awakening

my present comment: I will NOT Vote for McCain! I did some reading about Sarah Palin after Ted commented about McCains possible VP pick Aug. 25th. I was very impressed by Governor Palins resume. She is a grassroots public official for the Alaskan people. She is a grassroots social conservative, but tends to appear fiscally conservative too. That would still make her a Reformer. She has a strong bond with her community. Grassroots is about real people, real lives and real hometown communities. Average every day people in their average every day lives. Take away the party colors, Sarah Palin is the kind of elected official that has not forgotten what governing is really all about. But I will NOT vote for Sen. McCain. I will watch for Gov. Palins journey to higher office. A lot of people in Alaska seem to like her as their Governor. Even Governor Pawlenty is said to have a strong following of Minnesotans. I don't know who in the heck those supposed supporters are, I certainly don't like Neo-Conservative Pawlenty being our neo-Governor. It doesn't appear that Governor Palin is a Neocon, at least not yet. She is, however, a member of Feminists for life...(ANTI-choice group) and she is an evangelical (seemingly not the fanatic kind). And she referred to Senator Hillary Clinton as 'Whining' it was said. Its obvious that McCain and his people think that Governor Palin is good eye candy for the (R). Her public presence and stump speeches will create the perfect night cover for McCains covert weaknesses as a presidential candidate, won't it? Governor Palin is an excellent speaker. But I will NOT vote for McCain. Oddly, I mostly hear men across radio and TV, saying how insulted women are because McCain chose Palin for his VP. I don't think its as insulting as it is hypocritical and two faced of the McCain camp. McCain is not Family friendly, Woman friendly, Senior friendly, Worker friendly, nor is he disabled person friendly. And as for disabled Vets, how many times did he stomp on a bill going through the Senate that would help Veterans when in the battle field and when they come home. Go check out the great sites that show all of the candidates voting records. There are a few like 'On the Issues', 'VoteSmart.' and 'Open Congress.' After you do that, you have to look behind that vote and that is where the public officials real face is. Insulted, No. Amused, Oh Yes! Sarah Palin has a long way to go to meet Hillary on equal ground of life experience, both personal and professional. In the "Life of hard knocks" it is the best teacher as to how a person stands the test of time. Senator Hillary Clinton is a most magnificent champion of time tested moments. Governor Palin has just begun. If anyone turns out to just vote for McCain because he chose Palin, I think it is because she is the polished - sparkly candidate they want. The kind that Sen. John McCain can't be. Weren't there more than enough strong (R) women candidates? We know there were. But they know Sen. John McCain well. And they would challenge him on the issues. You know they would. The strong (R) women in the Senate surely have seen Sen. McCain in action. Two WCCO radio guys were chatting about Governor Tim Pawlenty. They are feeling a bit upset that Tim Pawlenty wasn't chosen as VP. Mainly it goes back to the code...the CODE says that if you dedicate yourself to something or someone, your just rewards will surface. Rewards for loyalty and dedication. And the two guys on WCCO radio think that Pawlenty being passed over is a big slap in the face. Governor Palin is for a particular select group of republicans, the group that needs to be reeled in for Sen. John McCain. I wouldn't call that group real republicans at all. Gov. Palin is said to be a real republican, so we are sure to see the proof in the upcoming months. Sen. McCain is not a real conservative. When he began putting his head on bush's shoulder and wrapping his arms around bush, he lost all of his fiscal and/or social conservative feathers. He plucked them off on his own and is left bare to the public. I echo what I said in a post few months back..."If my father (A REAL CONSERVATIVE) won't contribute to the (R)s this time around, there is something desperately wrong with the party today." I am the type of Independent voter that has to see for myself (I am definitely not a Lemming). Once I've done that -over and over- and I am satisfied with the results, I will commit. Neither party are what I want for the next four years, not now. With Senator Clinton out of the picture, I have more homework to do, to prepare for the election coming up. I feel the strong need to "apologize" to John Binkowski (I) and Rob Fitzgerald (I) once again for not following my gut. All of the local Minnesota races have been on my back burner. Now its time for me to pay more attention to my own back yard and to tidy up my front yard for the future leaders to come. The future leaders that I will hopefully discover in the next few months. But I will NOT vote
for McCain!

Well, the answer seems to be in the kind of stories that surface and the kind of stories that will keep on surfacing.

Economic Globlization and Speculation Coming Home to Roost published by cyrano2 at THOMAS PAINE'S CORNER Oct. 7, 2008

The Obama and McCain debate went on as planned. Interesting that McCain didn't throw his "TERRORIST" label at Obama on stage. While Obama was 'up front' with his repeated labels for McCain.

The one thing about throwing a racist ridden accusation out to an audience, is that the person who does it needs to know that their audience is of "like minded thinking."

One thing McCain didn't have last night excusively...his "like minded base." You know, the ones that 'call' themselves christian's, the ones that showed up to McCain’s rally the other day. This is really bad for McCain. This is really dangerous for Obama.

Now I'm pondering what "Sara Jane Olson (Minnesotan), and Patty Hearst" might think of Palins putrid politicKKKing about today’s much matured good citizen William Ayers? I think I might actually like having these three as my neighbor today, rather than the people who show up to a rabid McCain / Palin rally. YIKES!

As far as I can tell, the three people --Olson, Hearst and Ayers
-- have given much more back to their communities over the years and seem to have made great strides in their every day lives. So much so, I can't really say the same thing about McCain / Palin or the shadowy bush administration.

Is this really about "one persons terrorist is another persons freedom fighter?"

No, it is only about the past and forgiveness today.

Palin
is hurting not only someone who had paid their debt to society, but is hurting their entire family in the process. If only McCain and Palin could realize that their words fell on ears better left deafened. The sores of hate will just fester within those that hate anyone not like them. This is really bad for "all" of us.

More ponderings every time I pick up on McCain’s campaign tricKKK’s. Headaches, more headaches!

“EMERGENCY!!! Suspend the Elections!”

ps....Senator Clinton and former President Clinton are not racist and never have been!

Below are my ponderings with answers.

How can you forgive misdeeds and criminal acts that just keep on coming, over and over?

No one person from this present administration, nor their followers seems to believe they are doing great harm to this amazing country. Therefore, they will not believe they have any debt to pay back to society.

So traditional methods and techniques do not work with this group. I can think of many examples and none of them speak more plainly than actions....Actions speak louder than words. rushing to implement the program

The 110th Congress is fatally entangled in this administrations awful and horrendous governing.

McCain / Palin is the extension of the bush administration.

Obama is the extension of the DNC that took Sen. Clinton down. Voting 'Third Party' locally and writing in Sen Clinton for President of the United States.

REEFER MADNESS In Campaign 2008 The Media Are On Drugs!

Women who would vote for McCain aren't really truly dedicated to Hillary Clinton the Public Servant of the people...for their President. If you've followed Senator Clinton's life, then why in gods name would any women evoke McCains name as a choice, ever!?! Stop the maddness ladies and go for the greens or the reformists, but never, never go for Johnny McCain, not unless you want a dainty apron, a clunky vacuum cleaner and a strand of fake pearls as your next birthday gift! I myself, will push for Obama and Clinton - my Dream Team! McCain? Everyones nightmare!

....check out the links above...there's actually some cool things in each. There is also the opposite side of the spectrum. Work related stuff like the leather encased day planner my husband gave me for a Christmas present many years ago. It was one of the nicest Planners I'd ever seen. But that was the year I had already stopped wearing a watch. It was my emancipation from being a slave to time, obsessing over not having enough time to do everything and no time for me time. At least he stopped buying me pink clothes. Yikes! Makes me love him even more.

PLEASE DON'T EVER SAY YOU WILL VOTE FOR MCCAIN! PLEASE! I need my husband to come home! I have two autistic children that are ages 3 and 4, and I can't do this alone.

I BEG YOU! DON'T vote for McCain, EVER!

I'm not crazy about BO either, but I would NEVER vote McCain into office because that will be the worst thing to ever happen to THOUSANDS of americans families who need their daddies, mommies and their husbands and wives.

I just noticed your post and my heart breaks for you. I will support Hillary in whatever decision she feels is best for her, but voting for McCain is not an option for me. Between the war and womans rights, McCain is a giant leap backward. Write in Hillary, don't vote, but please for the love of God, or Goddess, don't vote McCain.

AP "story" by JadeinGa at 6/3/2008

Beth Fouhy wrote the story that broke this morning. Am I just paranoid or does it seem like a conspiracy is afoot? To my knowledge AP has yet to retract the story, but even if they have, the damage is done. How dare someone state the race is over on a day that voters have a last a chance to have their say.

Run as an Independent by Tamy at 6/3/2008

What is wrong with government today is the strangle hold that the 2 party system has on our government. Partisan politics and loyalty to a party is more important than doing what is right for the American people. THe only way to break this cycle is to have a viable 3rd party candidate win a general election. Hillary is that candidate!!

Elizabeth Edwards Talks about McCains really bad health care plan...msnbc Today Show Video

Pre-Existing Condition - current state of our nation will only get worse under John McCain. McCain guru linked to subprime crisis By LISA LERER Politico 3/28/08

A disturbing Fact -- If John McCain doesn't know anything about economics then how can he trust to know whether his advisors are honest enough to put forth a fair and practical health care package?

I gather from the way Senator McCain talks and Votes, the health care issue is something he thinks is a privilege not an entitlement. You lost your job, sink, You pay for bad or negligent medical care, sink. You racked up huge medical bills, sink. You can't afford health care, sink. You can't get treatment for health maintenance, sink. You can't get dental care, sink. You can't get Mental Health care, sink. You can't afford your medicine, sink. I will be looking for someone to hopefully prove me wrong.

John McCains Health Care Plan covers him right now. But what about the nations Sick and Senior Citizens? What about after the election? Elizabeth Edwards says his plan won't even cover him.

Roberta McCain!

I just finished watching Roberta McCain being interviewed and boy is she amazing! I just loved listening to her tell the stories of the past. And I was actually made curious about one comment she made...that John McCain has not received any recognition for his eight years of dedication to the bush administration, by the republicans. Of course I wouldn't think the nasty core of the RNC would be able to recognize any one's 'good' deeds. It takes genuine gratitude to give a nod out of respect for another colleague’s good deed.

It's True!!! The Trashing of McCain...An Interesting Train Ride by: Mike Lux Open Left Fri Jan 25, 2008

And John McCain represents a military survivor of torture, which none of the other (R) candidates can challenge in any way. Roberta McCain seems like a very nice and gracious lady at 96 years old. Pretty savvy too, when thrown a couple of questions that needed a carefully worded answer. I had to chuckle at the grudge question. I never thought of McCain as too old to run for elected office...I wouldn't vote for him, but it isn't because he's 71years old. I remember his comment about strolling along the markets in Baghdad and innocently telling the world he bought a rug. For some reason that statement and the knowing of the dying Iraqi citizens and US soldiers, cemented a disgust for his ignorance about what the 'people' cared about. It wasn't how cheap the rugs were, I'll tell ya for certain. That is when I knew John McCain would never be a consideration for anything from me. Disturbing to say the least.

I was listening to Stephanie Miller this morning on the way to work and she mentioned something about Mitt Romney not being liked by all of the other candidates and that they may have scripted their entire debate. A statement made about Romney by another (R) campaign manager sounded pretty vicious, the other I've forgotten already.

But it sounds like Romney is the chosen one by someone, otherwise why would the group act like jealous little boy's? I did watch quite a bit of the debate last night and I must admit, I didn't see any exclusion of Romney, didn't notice anything in particular. Except that Huckabee had the exact same idea as Mark Heaney from Minnesota Matters am950 Air America, which aired at 5pm yesterday. Mark has been talking about infrastructural investment from the stimulus package when the information first surfaced. That was interesting. Other then that, nothing really notable.
