Stop Toxic Toys - Do Something Today! More than 20 million toys have been recalled over the last six months. "Sign the Moms Rising Petition for Safer Toys."

No matter what the age of that special someone is or whether that 'one' has four leg's and fur, please do your homework first and check out Consumer Affairs.org before buying that perfect gift. Its the kindest thing you can do, to protect the one's you love and for the one's you may never have the pleasure of meeting. Clothing, jewelry and cosmetics need to be equally scrutenized, along with TOYS and other items. Even foods that may be part of your traditional giving, also need to be checked first.

The Hams are on their way for Christmas... So be on the alert for not only trashy trinkets but also for trashy manufactured food. I think I'd rather eat safe soup, thank you anyway.

New Orleans Deserves To Be Number One Choice...

And why was New Orleans being considered for a Presidential Debate? From what I can tell from the many stories I've posted about, articles I've read, links I've created and documentation I've archived since 2005, please someone tell me how New Orleans got on the list in the first place. (mega sarcasm)

Of Course....

New Orleans 'Deserves' to be at the top of the list and should have been given an instant nod of agreement by everyone on that so and so --so called-- commission!

"Rebuilding New Orleans is not a local obligation, it is an American obligation. And we must finally begin to fulfill it. As President, that will not just be my goal – but my mission.

John Edwards: When I am the Democratic nominee, I will push to make sure we hold a presidential debate in New Orleans.

New Orleans Is Not a Partisan Issue. Really. John McQuaid Posted November 21, 2007

"Holding a debate there -- at the Convention Center! -- would automatically put the Republican nominee on the defensive. That prospect clearly gave the vapors to the establishmentarians on the debate commission."
