Thank you!

I'm so sorry you were exiled from New Orleans. The whole Katrina debacle is an absolute national disgrace. My heart breaks for those of you who lost your homes and I hope and pray this current hurricane doesn't hit New Orleans again.

How are you in your new location?

Thanks for visiting Mountain Sage and linking to my blog.

Hi Mountain Sage,
It was my sisters husband and his entire family of 50 plus from New Orleans that lost everything when the levees broke. This blog was started 12/14/05 because of what happened at the time.

I keep the original message of the blog to share with anyone who happens by, to show that the family still matter. Thank you for the kind words for the family and I'm sorry that the title message mislead you to thinking it was me.

I happened across a message you posted on a blog called 'James McPherson’s Media & Politics Blog.' You are such a good writer! Then I linked to your blog. I will have to find time tomorrow so I can read more of your blog. Thank so much for posting. awakening

Family is such a huge part of my life as well. I'm blessed to have 82 year old parents who are still in good health, 3 sisters and 1 brother. Nieces and nephews galore as well as great nieces and nephews...a few got an early start with having children.

I love the graphic you have beside Mountain Sage above.

Thanks for the compliment...sometimes I wonder if I'm just wasting my time and then someone comes along and says they liked something I wrote.

Thanks again!

Your family sounds wonderful! Thanks for the compliment on the picture. It seemed to fit perfectly. Never stop writing. Even when you are at the point of being exasperated, your words will find someone like me who finds comfort in the truth of things. I think your gifted words reflect what a whole lot of us are thinking and feeling too. Have a nice day. awakening
