Who's Afraid of Michele Bachmann...NOT DMB, Norwegianity or the Huffington Post!

But the U.S. House and MN House and MN Senate may be, not a peep out of them over Bachmanns media melody of "Fear Mongering." Secrets? Fabrication? Distortion? Or plain out right lie? Which ever it may be I hope Madam Speaker Pelosi takes Bachmann by the hand and holds her accountable for this one.
As for our MN elected officials.....Silence to the public at large And ignoring questionable public official behavior and irresponsible displays of show boating, Are how the November 7th elections became a landslide. Don't forget newly elected MN House....we want your "Public" input of truth, logic and common sense. Especially when something as serious as what Michele Bachmann oddly put out there, is then oddly recanted in an odd way. This one wreaks of mangled misinformation coming out of U.S. Rep. Bachmanns mouth from the 6th CD in Minnesota then spread out to the nation.

If anybody has Representative Bachmann's email address, please write in with it and post it here. She's treating it like she should treat a national security issue."

Michele Bachmental Patient -- 31 comments

Michele is the congress person for my neighboring district. I sincerely wonder how she got elected. From day one she was saying things like, "If we got rid of the minimum wage, there would be no unemployment, because people could work for 3 dollars and hour" (I think that's about how she said it)

And I here that her husband is a shrink that tries to convert gay people to straight.

---------------------------------
Hold on there...there are plenty of us in the MN 6th that fought and are still fighting against this idiot. 50% of this district did not vote for her. If you add up the votes of Wetterling and Binkowski it was a tie.

---------------------------------

She makes stuff up all the time and our local media usually just ignores it. This time enough activists in her district got this out into the MSM. We are working hard to discredit her and make sure she is not re-elected.

---------------------------------

No we are not below average. Her extremism and voting record as a state senator were not publicized in the local media during the campaign and Wetterling's campaign did a very poor job in exposing her as well. Wetterling should have won, and could have won with the right publicity and support from the DCCC.

---------------------------------

Your post is comical Lizz, thanks for the Saturday laughs :-)

---------------------------------

During one of the debates between Bachmann and the other two candidates there was a question about public school education. All candidates were for it.

But, the independence party candidate says Michelle, your children went to private schools. Michelle acknowledged it, but she sent her 20 (that's not a typo) foster kids to public schools. The independence party candidate jumped on that and says I guess your foster kids aren't as deserving as your own children. OUCH!!!

----------------------------------

So, it should really be no surprise when one of these statements gets said to the MSM, in her mind it is absolutely valid. She has said it to those who are "on her side" repeatedly, and they all just nodded "north and south" and applauded. No one questioned her on it, no one pointed out WHERE she left reality and headed into Lah-Lah land, because no one knew.

----------------------------------

The scariest part of this isn't Michelle Bachmann, it's the people that VOTED for her.

Congress Set to Put Symbolism Into Action

Tuesday, February 20, 2007 Washington Post By E. J. Dionne The Antiwar Rallying Point

"A third path, offered by Sens. Joseph Biden (D-Del.) and Carl Levin (D-Mich.), would have Congress revisit its original 2002 Iraq resolution to make clear that the war authorized then (against Saddam Hussein and what turned out to be nonexistent weapons of mass destruction) had nothing to do with putting American troops in the midst of a Muslim civil war now."

Sense and Sensibility For Our .Com World Lends Sense & Sensibility to the Administrations Agenda

For Our .Com World -- Evidence of Iranian Arms Collected in Iraq, presented Iranians Mark Their Weapons in English? Who knew? "The best pictures I found of the Iranian arms supposedly collected in Iraq by the US military is at a Russian News Site "Kommersant"

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I usually don't write too much about the U.S. led Iraq Invasion / Occupation or about the U.S. threat aimed at Iran. My feelings are so deep and strong, about the war mongering, the crimes against humanity and the death of people -- civilians and soldiers, that I would break down and cry every single day. So, instead I stuff my feelings somewhere above my gut and below my vocal cords.
With each passing day, I stuff more sorrow onto that perfect little shelf. But I'm going to run out room soon. I am so ashamed that my country is the one that attacked Iraq, so ashamed that my country is provoking Iran. Why can't we find a way towards peace? Why?
I don't know what to call some of these feelings, because I don't think I've ever had them before. Not in this life time. It is time for the 110th Congress to cut off funds for the Iraq occupation. It is time for Congress to stop 'playing' chicken with this administration.
Desperate times require desperate measures. If the Congress waits to do their duty, we are one step closer to watching, in horror, as our military is ordered to invade another country.
I'm Still Hoping For Clinton And Obama
Monday, February 5, 2007 Washington Post Staff Writer Anne E. Kornblut Obama Confronts 'Outsider' Dilemma How to Win Without Losing His Identity
Wednesday, January 31, 2007 When The White House Was The Symbol of A Democratic Republic
There is no mistaking that I lean towards Senator Clinton for President. I have waited a long time for her to run for the highest office in the land. I cannot think of anyone better to be her running mate, then Barack Obama. Depending upon who she chooses in the end, that may unfortunately sway me away from her.
The current presidents Vice President seems to be running the whole show behind the scenes and look where we are now. My interest was peaked by Barack Obama when he spoke to a crowd in Iowa. I was hoping that both Clinton and Obama would run on the same ticket. Senator Obama as Vice President and Senator Clinton as President. I would trust a Clinton and Obama to run this country.
The combination of their personal attributes and life / work experience, partnered with former President Clinton and other necessary people in the background, would have full force of ability to cast all eyes, all hands and a collective critical thought out over the damage that the current administration and their shadows have caused.
Repair and restoration for the future of this country and the world, is what I hope for. Whom ever steps into the White House, will be stepping in at a time when constitutional crisis will be a realty. We will need an extraordinarily strong and diverse Presidential Administration by that time. Maybe Hillary and Obama will team up.....that would be amazing. I can hope.
Right now, I will be watching the new Democratic party majority in how they do the peoples business, watching them like a hawk.
Monday September 18, 2007 - Barack Obama Visits Tom Harkins Iowa Steak Fry
I watched the 'Steak Fry' get together that Tom Harkins heads up yearly, who is a true blue down home guy. I tuned in to CSpan just to see what political climate Iowa was having. Even though we're neighboring states, my sister took delight several years in a row, in reporting how much snow she was getting compared to me. Me, who loves the snow and cold! She who hates the cold and snow!
Tom Harkin spoke words of logic and shared a message of unity (as he has always done)standing in front of a barn draped with the American flag. When he introduced Barack Obama as the invited 'Rock Star' for this years event at the fairgrounds, I became interested in hearing what he - Barack Obama had to say.
I had not jumped on the Barack bandwagon, nor had any interest in doing so. He was just a Democratic politician like others that I had heard snippets about...All good. But he belongs to Illinois and my attention span has been limited to those with sound track records that I have either known of for years (few) or new comers - especially new incoming - in Minnesota - especially the 6th district of Anoka County.
Anyway, I listened to Barack Obama speak and I watched as people attempted to get a handshake or a photograph. He seemed genuinely connected to the audience gatherers. The audience seemed to sincerely connect with Senator Obama. His words were plain, his stories real and his message hugs the world of common folk, like me.
Most of all, it was Barack Obama's personality that helped me to reflect on the words, the stories and his experience. All types of people were greeted in the crowd, not just politely, but nicely.
The one sentence that stayed with me out of a very heartfelt speech "Give companies who want to invest in America incentives, instead of giving tax breaks to companies who want to move jobs to other countries." If he is including outsourcing, than I think we may have a winner for 2008.
Dump Michele Bachmann On The Right Karmic Path
Saturday, February 03, 2007 Old Nooz: Michele Bachmann Makes the New York Times
If only Michele Bachmann could get back on her true karmic path. When we wonder off our paths, does this possibly shed light on why we behave the way we do and say the things we say?
There was a time when it looked like Michele was on the right path when she worked for the Carter campaign. President Carter's karmic path is The Way of Confidence. President Carter has achieved much in his life that is meaningful to so many. A true humanitarian.
Michele seemed to begin her more rigid journey when President Carter wisely refused to influence and impose his personal religious beliefs upon the country.
She then walked a path to work on the Republican campaign to elect Ronald Reagan - The Way of Grace.
Wikepedia - Christian documentary Francis Schaeffer's 1976 How Should We Then Live?.
If Michele Bachmann had stayed true to herself and learned from her younger experiences, she would have been a different person today. Her work could have been one of selflessness and her arms might have been open to all. Instead, she has selfishly fed peoples ignorance through fear, anger and hate.
From The Secret Language of Destiny By Gary Goldschneider and Joost Elffers 1999
Patty Wetterling was born November 2, 1949 The Way of Individuation
Michele Bachmann was born on April 6, 1956 and her Karmic Path is The Way of Responsibility.
The core lesson for this person is knowing that fighting limitations can itself be a form of limitations. Her goal is to develop self-control and discipline through the acceptance of responsibility.
Pitfalls
Volatile, Tyrannical, Impulsive
Gifts
Honorable, Expansive, fair and the fear of domination
Contact with nature is essential for this karmic path. Nature calms their often volatile emotions. The silence and simplicity of nature is where greater truths can be found, that will be their polestars. The insights gained when exposed to the natural world help them to develop the perspective to realize that much of what they struggle with is not really all that important.
Jane Fonda shed much of her revolutionary angst and has built a stronger sense of inner authority.
