Hey...Could You Smile and Joke Later?
Did public officials always joke around and smile widely while visiting every disaster prior to going on camera, in this nation?
Why have I noticed so much jolly good natured behavior when our public officials visit a scene where people have died? Why am I noticing this and why are they doing it?
Clips from long ago and in the last decade....I don't recall what seems to be friendly fun reunions taking place while standing on the ground of some disaster.
Prior to the lead up of bush going on camera, the news station camera was rolling on him and the group that gathered around him without sound.
The camera catches everything, a picture is worth a thousand words.....Amy Klobuchar your smiling and jovial nature was disturbing, bush laughing at his or someone's funny line, is disturbing. Nameless lap puppy's your smiling and laughing was disturbing.
In the future, could they all just get together, do their joking, smiling and laughing behind closed door's.
And then, once the public is in your line of sight 'act' solemn, be respectful and show polite decorum that honor's the dead as well as the victims and the victim's families.
If this is too hard for you, remove yourself from the camera's angle. There were a very few who did exercise proper behavior while milling around or standing in a place where people died.

There is word that the victims may also include people from homeless camps, that were located directly under the bridge at the edge of the river banks. Many street people (including our homeless Veteran's) are stationed with their signs, at entrance and exit ramp lights around rush hour, especially. No other information picked up other than this. Heard this on the radio early this morning.
Note: When I refer to 'Victims' I am talking about the survivor's too...they are victims of the negligence that caused the bridge to collapse.
