April 1, 2006 may be April fools day other places, but not in New Orleans. April 1st will be April Footprint day (my words, not official name). The day that could bring all people a little closer to home, people together - displaced with placed, the exiled beside evacuee commuter, caring visitor to compassionate idealist. Everyone at that moment - nonpartisan in every way - in step with the beat...Home is where the heart is...Home is New Orleans...
