Patty Wetterling Is Not An Incumbent & She Is A Mom

October 11. 2006 ~ Minnesota election updates on MN PUBLIUS

I had already planned to vote for Patty Wetterling because I believe she is the right person for the job. A list of reasons brought me to this decision. After the smear campaign on her by the Mark Kennedy bullies the last election, I feel she is tougher politically, more savvy politically and ready for this era of sinister government apathy.

The one that has suffered a loss, gained an intense insight and gave to others. The one that took a forward step to challenge, champion and to protect. One that helps families to survive and go onward. Withstanding all this, the one that is awakened and willing to walk into one of the most vicious administrations on record. That is the one that I want representing my family, my district, my state.

I think once Patty Wetterling gets elected - She will truly carry a sound and steady message on behalf of the people of the 6th district, as a Minnesota Representative of the House that will exercise her role with integrity and intelligence. I believe she will be able to effectively carry out all of her good deeds, projects and missions on behalf of Minnesotans and people everywhere.

Although she appears calm and thoughtful, this is not the main trait I am impressed by. She has the fire of empathy of someone who has faced the tests of life. That fire, I believe is her greatest source of strength. Unfinished business in life can be the best ignited motivator when witness to injustice, ignorance, discrimination, apathy and greed.

New incoming politicians like Patty Wetterling, with sound social agenda's that encircle their moral responsibility as an individual and as a citizen, they seem to understand the reason behind the quest for the need to have healthy foundations with which to build upon.

They have a personal track record of social initiatives that is a testament to the unyielding will of the human spirit. The one that never gives up, the one that brings a conscience with them; the one that recognizes social failures of the past and aspires to stable societal balance for all, for the future. That is who I want in public office. That is why I am voting for Patty Wetterling.

Thank you. I hope so too. The photo of my girl Ally, is one of my treasured visual memories of her. I am touched that you like it.
When I have more time, I will visit your blog longer. A photo of an elderly woman looking at art caught my eye....simply beautiful!
