A Message To The DNC...Come To The Twin Cities Too!
October 11. 2006 ~ Minnesota election updates on MN PUBLIUS
I sent an email to the DNC this morning, rationalizing why they should come to the twin cities. If anything, they should choose their convention site carefully. All arrows point to the Midwest. A good offensive strategy. The thought of being flooded with real Republicans doesn't alarm me as much as the thought of the multiple small bands of Neo-Cults (the faux republicans) running mad through our streets....EGADS!
PS...Message to NRC - Patty Wetterling is not too liberal for Minnesota. Actually, she is just what we need in the 6th District and in Minnesota. The flyer we received is not true, she did vote. Do better homework!

The Democratic National Convention in Minneapolis at, say, the Target Center or Metrodome would be the ultimate slap in the face to the Republicans although beating them to the punch and snapping up The XCel center would have been far better.

Your idea for where the DNC could be held, are good ones. Maybe even the Blaine Sports Center? My husband said that it is unlikely the DNC would come to Minnesota too. Said it has never happened before. But I can still wish. Sure would be a spectacular landmark moment in history, if they both showed up to prepare for the 2008 show down. Now that would be democracy in action!
