Citizens Paying For Unfinished Business...

Link to Times Picayune...3/17/2006
"Spokesmen for the leaders of the Senate committee, Chairwoman Susan Collins, R-Maine, and Joseph Lieberman, D-Conn., said they knew nothing about a request for a joint subpoena. While Davis and Collins were in ongoing contact about their parallel investigations, spokesmen said the probes were run separately. The Senate committee is expected to issue its findings at the end of March."

3/2/2006 e-mail sent to Senator Collins...
Dear Senator Collins,
I have followed the aftermath activities from the hurricane and levee collapse, since the beginning.
Please try to collect the missing information that is needed to complete your committee investigation.
If your requests for information is derailed by excuses of executive privilege, your final report is not complete. It is like publishing a book with 100 pages, then finding that pages 78, 79 and 80 are missing.
It just doesn't make sense to have blank pages, especially for something as serious as this awful endeavor you and your colleagues have painstakingly committed to investigate.
I am of course concerned about the people, the pets and their livelihoods, a region of citizens federally forgotten before the aftermath took on an ugly life of its own. Thank you for your time.
Sincerely,
