CUT TO JANUARY 2007 & FEBRUARY 2007

Posted Yesterday 2/13/2007
I usually don't write too much about the U.S. led Iraq Invasion / Occupation or about the U.S. threat aimed at Iran. My feelings are so deep and strong, about the war mongering, the crimes against humanity and the death of people -- civilians and soldiers, that I would break down and cry every single day. So, instead I stuff my feelings somewhere above my gut and below my vocal cords.

With each passing day, I stuff more sorrow onto that perfect little shelf. But I'm going to run out room soon. I am so ashamed that my country is the one that attacked Iraq, so ashamed that my country is provoking Iran. Why can't we find a way towards peace? Why?

I don't know what to call some of these feelings, because I don't think I've ever had them before. Not in this life time. It is time for the 110th Congress to CUT OFF FUNDS for the Iraq occupation. It is time for Congress to stop 'playing' chicken with this administration.

Desperate times require desperate measures. If the Congress waits to do their duty, we are one step closer to watching, in horror, as our military is ordered to ATTACK another country.

Wednesday, February 14, 2007 CONGRESS RESCIND WAR POWERS ((((NOW!))) "The 110th Congress seems to be under the impression that their will to Not stop funding will protect the soldiers in Iraq and elsewhere."

February 14, 2007 Think Progress “The benefits were temporary, the bodybags were permanent.” Rep. Ric Keller (R-FL), on past escalation efforts and why he’s opposing the current one...
The 110th Congress seems to be under the impression that their will to Not stop funding will protect the soldiers in Iraq and elsewhere. I've heard that necessary military equipment is still not in place, in the hands of the soldiers. Heard on the Bill Press show 2/13/2007.

Still not meeting the expectations of what one would think is a necessary military strategy, if one were trying to keep the soldiers alive. Most recent word was that the newest explosives blow up from the bottom straight up through the hummvee's. And that the equipment needed to prevent this from happening will not be fully installed on every hummvee, not until late summer or early fall of 2007.

With all of the money that has been siphoned out of this country for the Iraq occupation, you'd think that the military would be gold plated by now. So who is really walking around with all of that gold plating?

I guess we citizens better be on the look out for New taxes -- Not called Taxes, in the upcoming months.
